ICMP Ping

The Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) is not a transport protocol but a protocol to send to messages between hosts to see if a machine on the network is available. This ICMP Ping sends 4 packages to the host/IP specified and displays the answer. It is useful to troubleshoot a remote host's internet connection even if your own connection is impaired.
